Showing the century-old classics with modern aesthetics, making the inherited taste last forever Dongxinglou was founded in the 28th year of Guangxu and is known as the first of the eight major Shandong cuisine restaurants in Beijing. In the process of shaping the Dongxinglou menu, showing the unique skills and cultural heritage that have been passed down for a century is the primary goal of the project. Geisha Showa starts with the details of the dishes, expressing the old store style, master knife skills, exquisite heat and other characteristics through modern aesthetic techniques, so that the image of this century-old restaurant is still lasting today.
東興樓创建于清光绪二十八年（1902年），原址位于东安门大街路北，占地5000余平方米，是一座前出廊后出厦的大四合院。
原拟建楼，因左邻右舍多为大官僚的府邸，又临近皇宫，有窥视皇宫之嫌，故不准盖楼，也就成了叫楼而不是楼。

Consequently, the structure was built as a single-story building instead. Therefore, it was called "lou" but not actually a building with floors.

東興樓经营的风味菜肴以山东省胶东菜系为主，特点是清、素、鲜嫩、油而不腻。彼时，能在这里就餐的皆是清朝上流社会的达官贵人，阔老臣商，
他们办理要事请客，都以能在東興樓请客为荣。更曾承办过末代皇帝溥仪的婚宴，因此東興樓被誉为北京“八大楼”之首。
